The area has a long industrial history of manufacturing and distribution businesses. The site already has a full and implemented planning permission for the construction and operation of a similar type of plant to that being planned.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-5 fusion_builder_column_1_2 1_2 fusion-one-half fusion-column-last\" style=\"--awb-bg-size:cover;width:50%;width:calc(50% - ( ( 4% ) * 0.5 ) );\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><h3>Project description<\/h3>\n<p>This facility will take commercial and industrial waste or similar waste types that has already been sorted and segregated to remove recyclable materials such as metals, plastics rubble. This \u2018residual material\u2019 will be used to produce energy and generate electricity for export from the site. There is the possibility of the facility exporting heat as well.
